Accelerated Energy Solutions Founder Brings Extensive Experience to HEMS
Murrieta, Calif., August 4, 2008 / -- Helio Energy Management Solutions, (Helio Energy Solutions), an energy services company, today announced the addition of Gregory Vicas as Program Manager.
”After a 20+ year history in commercial building and facilities project management career, Greg excelled at energy improvement and engineering services in the Bay area,” said TR Bietsch, Director. “We are incredibly pleased to have Greg on board to assist us in identifying client green energy objectives and fulfilling their energy solutions.”
As program manager for HEMS, Greg will oversee all energy audit and systems delivery services. “In the evolution of the building and energy industries, companies are challenged to stay abreast of EMS solutions and still run their core business,” said Greg. “By aligning with HEMS, I am now able to bring a broad base of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies to our client base.”
Prior to joining HEMS, Greg established Accelerated Energy Solutions, Inc. AESI operated as an energy improvement consultant and contractor in the SF Bay Region. Refining and employing his extensive experience with the design-build delivery system, he successfully brought together diffuse resources in the energy industry to be able to provide “turnkey” energy solutions.
His career cornerstone of a design based architectural education was during the “first wave” of solar and energy efficient designs, in response to the “energy crisis” of the ‘70’s. Greg has held senior and executive positions in his construction career with Tishman West Companies, William Wilson and Associates (CIC Division), DBD Structures (Design Build Development) and Swinerton Builders. His resume also includes performance contracting and controls project management with Johnson Controls Inc.
Greg holds a Degree in Architecture from U.C. Berkeley in the College of Environmental Design. He achieved his LEED AP credential and maintains membership with the USGBC and its Northern CA Chapter and is a CSLB Licensed GC. Additional Energy Management affiliations include membership in the National Association of Energy Engineers. He is currently working to achieve his CEM credential.
