Some Basics on the LEED program

LEED is a third party certification program and the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council in 2000 through a consensus based process, LEED serves as a tool for buildings of all types and sizes. LEED certification offers third party validation of a project’s energy efficient and green features and verifies that the building is operating in a sustainable way!

Helio Energy Solutions is an energy management solutions provider and the largest component of the LEED Certification Program is the "Energy & Atmosphere" credits section. In addition, our LEED AP and Program Manger has over 20 years experience in the Design-Build methodology of Construction and Operation of Commercial Facilities.

Our approach to the detailed process of LEED Certification is the same approach we employ for EMS improvements: Energy and Green Improvements are site specific to each project, thus Helio Energy Solutions provides a complete facility audit. We then offer solutions of value, which are engineered to meet the needs of that facility and the goals of LEED Credits as well!
